Coming events Change of Venue on Wednesday the 23rd of AprilThere will be a change of venue for Wednesday night classes, from the Queens Head to the Supper room at the Mt Stuart Community Hall. This is for one week only!!!! Wednesday 23rd of April Updated Tuesday 22 April 2008 Other news New Blocks New blocks starting this week. Check out the calender for more details. Updated Tuesday 22 April 2008 New Kingston Swing Dancing Level 1 BlockBarry and Narelle will be teaching a 13 week Level 1 block at the Kingbourgh Sports Centre. This is in conjunction with TasSwing and Got to Dance.
Classes will be held on a Friday night at 6:45 for an hour. Updated Tuesday 22 April 2008 New Class LevelsThe Tas Swing Teachers are doing a little new year clean up, starting with class levels. Classes will now be known as:
Level 1 (Beginners) This change will help to simplify our overall class structure as well as help align our classes with other Swing companies in Australia who use this same method. Please bare with us, as with all terminology it will take us a while to get used to it. Updated Tuesday 22 April 2008 New Introductory Level 2 Block on Tuesday NightsBecause of the massive turnout on Wednesday night mini block there will be a new Tuesday night Introductory Level 2 Block starting this week at 8:15 at the Venue.
This class like Wednesday night is aimed at the experienced level 1 dancers. Please come along and learn some new moves with Barry and Narelle. Updated Tuesday 1 April 2008 New Level 1 Block in CygnetIf you are in the Huon Valley on a Thursday night, come along to Cygnet and be a part of the new 6 week Level 1 Block. Barry and Narelle are teaching from 7:30 to 9:00 at the Cygnet Town Hall. Updated Tuesday 1 April 2008 Ross Swing BallThe beautiful town of Ross will be lighting up with a swing ball at the Ross Town Hall on the 22 of March.
